This welcoming and well-resourced school caters to pupils with complex needs, including Autism (ASC), Moderate to Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD/SLD), and SEMH. The Role:

Teach a small class of pupils with a range of SEN (including ASC, MLD, SEMH)

Develop personalised lesson plans with EHCP outcomes in mind

Deliver functional skills, core subjects, or a thematic curriculum depending on need

Work closely with Teaching Assistants and therapists to maximise student engagement and development

Foster a safe, supportive, and structured learning environment
Ideal Candidate:

Qualified Teacher (QTS/QTLS or overseas equivalent with UK experience)

Previous experience working in a special school or with SEND students

Confident with behaviour management and using de-escalation strategies

Flexible, nurturing, and resilient approach

Immediate availability and enhanced DBS (or willing to apply)
