Computer Science – Urgently Required – Enfield              

The academy is a 3 to 18 all-through school in Enfield, with a mixed comprehensive intake. We opened our doors to our first Reception classes in September 2013 and our first cohort of year 7 pupils joined us in September 2014.  We currently have over 1700 pupils on roll from Nursery to Year 13. The academy was graded Outstanding in all areas in our Ofsted inspection of April 2015.

The academy is seeking a creative and inspiring individual to join their exciting performing ICT department.

The superstar:

• Teaching acting skills, such as voice and movement, to students in a classroom setting
• Planning, preparing, and presenting lessons that incorporate acting techniques to teach acting skills such as body awareness and vocal projection
• Acting as a role model for students by demonstrating appropriate behaviour in class and on stage
• Conducting workshops and seminars on acting techniques, acting methods, audition techniques, and other theatre arts topics
• Designing theatre productions by selecting scripts, working with directors and actors to develop character development, and planning technical elements such as lighting and sound
• Conducting acting classes that help students develop their skills and improve their knowledge of the industry
• Evaluating student progress and providing feedback on technique and performance

You must have a QTS or can demonstrate sufficient experience in teaching Drama.

You must hold an Enhanced DBS or be happy to apply for a new DBS.
