English Teacher/Tutor | Saturday School | Qualified Teachers Apply

A secondary school in Hackney need an English teacher/tutor to work on a Saturday with the school. This individual must hold qualified teaching status or a similar qualification in teaching English.

This role will be worked every Saturday, term time only.

  • KS3 & KS4 English Tutor.
  • Day: Every Saturday (Term time only).
  • Closest Station: Stamford Hill.
  • Time: 10:00 – 15:00.
  • (3 x 1.5 hr sessions with 15 min break in between).
  • Rate of pay: £28.00 P/H.
  • Pay frequency: Weekly or Monthly – as desired by the candidate.
  • Teacher to prepare their own teaching resources.
  • Printing will be done by the centre.

Your Main duties will be to plan and teach lessons relevant to year group.

To set and check weekly homework tasks.

Been a behaviour mentor for 4 years and I've been unlucky enough to have only worked with jai bance for the past 3 months. In those 3 months he's managed to get me my current highest paying roll as a temp & secured me a contract within my first school working with principle. In general I'm not a big fan of recruitment agencies as they often only view candidates as a pound note but these guys know the roles (in detail so your not walking blind) support you through the many challenges you will face as a temporary worker but most importantly the pays fair and its always payed on time.
