Key Responsibilities:
Design and deliver engaging art and design lessons that inspire and challenge students.
Foster a creative and inclusive learning environment where students can explore various art forms, from drawing and painting to digital design.
Encourage students to develop their individual artistic style and express themselves through their work.
Provide constructive feedback to help students improve their skills and reach their full potential.
Collaborate with fellow educators to integrate art and design into interdisciplinary projects.
Evaluate and assess student progress and maintain accurate records of their performance.
Engage with parents and guardians to communicate students’ progress and discuss their artistic development.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies to ensure students are well-prepared for future careers in the field.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Art Education, Fine Arts, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
A strong portfolio showcasing your own artistic work.
Teaching certification or license (if required by the state).
Prior teaching experience, preferably in an art and design setting.
Passion for nurturing creativity and helping students achieve their artistic goals.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of various art and design software and tools.
