Exam Invigilators Required – Norwood (DBS on Update Service Essential | Fast Turnaround Roles Available)

We are actively recruiting reliable and professional Exam Invigilators to support schools and colleges in Norwood during the busy summer exam period across May and June.

This is a flexible opportunity ideally suited to individuals who are organised, detail-focused, and capable of maintaining a calm, controlled, and compliant exam environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervising students throughout examinations
  • Ensuring all exam regulations and protocols are strictly adhered to
  • Distributing and collecting exam materials efficiently
  • Supporting the setup and clearance of exam venues under the direction of the Lead Invigilator
  • Reporting any irregularities in line with exam board requirements

Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to remain alert and vigilant
  • Excellent punctuality and reliability (non-negotiable in this environment)
  • Clear communication skills and professional presence
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a wider team

Essential Criteria (Fast-Track Compliance)

  • Valid DBS certificate registered on the Update Service (required for quick placement)
  • Ability to provide two professional references (from professional email addresses)
  • Previous experience in a school or exam setting is advantageous, but not essential

Been a behaviour mentor for 4 years and I've been unlucky enough to have only worked with jai bance for the past 3 months.
