Key Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality PE lessons across all year groups.

• Promote student engagement, enthusiasm, and participation in physical activity.

• Develop and organise extracurricular sports clubs, competitions, and events.

• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback.

• Encourage positive behaviour and respect both in and out of the classroom.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop the PE curriculum.

• Support the school’s ethos of inclusion, diversity, and safeguarding at all times.

Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate who:

• Is a qualified PE teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).

• Has a strong passion for sport and student development.

• Can inspire, motivate, and challenge students to achieve their best.

• Has excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.

• Demonstrates commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

• Is able to work collaboratively in a supportive and enthusiastic school community.
