Food Technology Teacher

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Food Technology Teacher to join our vibrant Design & Technology Faculty from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled and motivated individual to deliver an engaging curriculum from Key Stage 3 through to Key Stage 5.
About the Role:
You will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality, creative, and practical lessons that promote a love of food, nutrition, and healthy living. You will play a key role in preparing students for GCSE and A-Level examinations, equipping them with essential life skills and knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver Food Technology lessons to students in KS3–KS5.

Plan and prepare engaging schemes of work aligned with curriculum standards.

Promote food safety, hygiene, and nutritional education.

Assess student progress and provide timely, constructive feedback.

Maintain a well-organised, safe, and fully equipped food technology classroom.

Contribute to extra-curricular activities, enrichment clubs, and school events.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

A relevant degree in Food Technology, Nutrition, or a related field.

Experience teaching at KS3–KS5 (including GCSE and A-Level Food Preparation & Nutrition or similar).

Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to inclusive practice.

A creative, practical approach to learning and an enthusiasm for food education.
