Cover Supervisors Needed for FLEXIBLE Work Across East London & Essex

Principal Education is looking for confident and reliable Cover Supervisors to work in secondary schools across Havering, Brentwood, Thurrock, Basildon, Barking & Dagenham.

These are flexible daily supply opportunities, giving you the choice to work around your availability, with opportunities for longer-term placements also available.

The Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise classes in the absence of the regular teacher, deliver pre-prepared lessons and maintain a positive, safe and productive learning environment.

You won’t be expected to plan lessons, but you’ll play an important role in supporting students’ learning, behaviour and engagement.

What You MUST demonstrate:

  • Right to work in the UK
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Confidence working with secondary-aged students
  • Ability to support pupils with SEN
  • Calm, adaptable and confident approach
  • Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one
  • Overseas police clearance if you have lived abroad for 6+ months in the last 5 years
  • Based in or within a commutable distance of East London or Essex

Been a behaviour mentor for 4 years and I've been unlucky enough to have only worked with jai bance for the past 3 months. In those 3 months he's managed to get me my current highest paying roll as a temp & secured me a contract within my first school working with principle.
