MFL Spanish and French Teacher – Leyton

Principal Education are currently recruiting for a MFL Spanish and French teacher to join their client school based in Leyton with immediate availability up until July 2024. This inclusive school are keen advocates of resilience by bravely rising to challenges and empower young people to be confident and active citizens.

Job Responsibilities:
• Develop and deliver engaging and immersive Spanish and French language lessons in accordance with the national curriculum.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and proficiency in both languages.
• Incorporate cultural elements into lessons to enhance students’ understanding and appreciation of Spanish and French-speaking regions.
• Assess and evaluate student language skills, providing constructive feedback to support their language development.
• Organize and participate in language-related extracurricular activities and events.

Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Modern Foreign Languages, Spanish and French.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the United Kingdom.
• Strong proficiency in both Spanish and French languages with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Adaptability and creativity in developing and implementing engaging language activities.
• Proficiency in utilizing technology for instructional purposes.
