Position: Teaching Assistant / Cover Teacher / Cover Supervisor
Location: London

About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Teaching Assistant / Cover Teacher / Cover Supervisor to support classroom learning and provide cover when required. In this role, you will work closely with students to ensure they stay engaged with the curriculum as well as provide additional support to help them achieve goals and targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support teachers with delivery of lessons, ensuring that all students are able to access the curriculum.
- Provide cover for classes in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring continuity in lesson delivery.
- Foster and maintain a positive, supportive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
- Help manage classroom behaviour and support students in developing their skills.
- Work collaboratively, as part of a team with teaching staff to ensure an effective and cohesive approach to learning.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and assist with evaluations and reviews.
About You:
We are looking for someone who is:
- Enthusiastic, patient, and dedicated to supporting students in their educational journey.
- Can work independently and as part of a team, adapting to the needs of the classroom.
- Flexible and proactive, with a positive attitude towards providing cover and supporting diverse student needs.
- Experienced in a classroom environment or with a background in education (highly desirable but not essential).
- Must be confident to manage a classroom.
