We are seeking an enthusiastic, committed, and innovative Geography Teacher to join our dedicated Humanities team from September 2025. This role includes a Teaching and Learning Responsibility (TLR) for Head of Year, offering a fantastic opportunity for leadership development and pastoral engagement.
About the Role
We are looking for a passionate Geography specialist who:

Has a deep understanding of the Geography curriculum across Key Stages 3 to 5

Has the vision and drive to take on a key pastoral leadership role as Head of Year

As Head of Year, you will:

Lead and manage the pastoral care and academic progress of a year group

Work closely with senior leaders, tutors, students, and families

Promote a positive and inclusive school culture

Support student wellbeing, attendance, and behaviour

Person Specification

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Strong subject knowledge in Geography

Proven ability to deliver high-quality teaching

A track record of making a positive impact on students’ academic and personal development

Leadership potential and experience in pastoral or curriculum areas (desirable)
