Position: Computer Science Teacher
Contract: Short-term (Until the end of this term)
Start Date: Immediate
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality computer science lessons to students across KS3 – 5.
Create a stimulating and engaging learning environment.
Mark and assess student work, providing constructive feedback to aid learning.
Maintain good classroom management to ensure a positive and productive learning environment.
Come on board as a fully-fledged member of staff, attending department meetings, parent evenings, and other school events. Please note that there is no extra payment for attending these events.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Good subject knowledge and the ability to teach across KS3 – 5.
Previous experience teaching computer science is desirable but not essential.
Strong knowledge of the national curriculum for computer science.
