We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor with a specialism in Physical Education to join our supportive and forward-thinking team in September 2025.

About the Role:

As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a key role in maintaining continuity of education for students in the absence of their regular teacher. While your primary focus will be delivering and supporting PE lessons, you will also provide general cover across a range of subjects when required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver pre-prepared lessons and ensure students remain on task.

• Supervise whole classes in PE and other subjects during teacher absence.

• Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies.

• Support students’ learning and contribute to their well-being and development.

• Maintain accurate records and provide feedback to teaching staff.

About You:

• A strong interest or background in Physical Education (e.g. degree, coaching qualifications, or previous PE teaching/support experience).

• Experience working with young people in an educational or sports setting.

• Confident, resilient, and adaptable with excellent communication skills.

• Able to manage a classroom environment and uphold high expectations.

• A positive, proactive attitude with a commitment to safeguarding and student welfare.
