The Role:
We are seeking a passionate and inspiring Drama Teacher to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality Drama education across Key Stages 3 and 4, and ideally supporting students preparing for GCSE Drama. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a thriving department and help students explore their creativity and performance skills.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver stimulating and effective Drama lessons across KS3 and KS4.

Develop students’ practical and theoretical knowledge of drama and theatre arts.

Prepare students for GCSE Drama examinations and performances.

Organise and lead extracurricular activities, including school productions and drama clubs.

Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records.

Collaborate with colleagues across the school to enrich the curriculum and student experience.

Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment that aligns with the school’s values.
Person Specification:

Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent.

Strong subject knowledge and experience teaching Drama at KS3 and GCSE level.

Passionate about theatre arts and student development.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to inspire, motivate, and engage students of varying abilities.
