The Role:
We are seeking a passionate and inspiring Drama Teacher to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality Drama education across Key Stages 3 and 4, and ideally supporting students preparing for GCSE Drama. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a thriving department and help students explore their creativity and performance skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver stimulating and effective Drama lessons across KS3 and KS4.

• Develop students’ practical and theoretical knowledge of drama and theatre arts.

• Prepare students for GCSE Drama examinations and performances.

• Organise and lead extracurricular activities, including school productions and drama clubs.

• Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records.

• Collaborate with colleagues across the school to enrich the curriculum and student experience.

• Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment that aligns with the school’s values.

Person Specification:

• Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent.

• Strong subject knowledge and experience teaching Drama at KS3 and GCSE level.

• Passionate about theatre arts and student development.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to inspire, motivate, and engage students of varying abilities.
