Principal Education is seeking passionate and knowledgeable Geography Teachers to join outstanding secondary schools across South East London. Whether you’re an experienced teacher or an ambitious graduate with a strong Geography background looking to enter education, we’d love to hear from you. These are full-time or flexible supply roles — ideal for individuals who can bring curiosity, structure, and global awareness to the classroom.

The Role:

As a Geography Teacher, you’ll deliver engaging lessons that help students understand the world around them — from physical landscapes to human environments and global issues. You’ll inspire learners to think critically, analyse data, and develop a lifelong interest in the subject.

What You MUST Demonstrate:

• Right to work in the UK
• Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Environmental Science, or a related field (ESSENTIAL)
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• A passion for Geography, sustainability, and education
• Ability to deliver dynamic and inclusive lessons across KS3–KS5
• Flexibility, adaptability, and calmness under pressure
• An Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
• Based in South East London/South West London or within a commutable distance

Pay and Benefits:

• £150–£220 per day (depending on experience and assignment)
