Graduate Teaching Assistant

Classroom Support: Assist teachers with lesson delivery, classroom management, and individual or group student support.

Small Group/1:1 Work: Work with students who need extra help, such as those with special educational needs or learning gaps.

Administrative Tasks: Help with marking, preparing resources, or organizing classroom materials.

Supervision: Occasionally supervise classes, especially if a teacher is absent, under the guidance of senior staff.

Pastoral Care: Support students’ emotional and social development, often by building rapport and acting as a positive role model.
Qualifications and Skills:

A bachelor’s degree (in any subject, though education-related degrees are a plus).

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to manage behavior positively.

Passion for working with young people and possibly pursuing a teaching career.

Some roles prefer candidates with school-based experience, but many provide training.
