Head of Drama
We are an Ofsted-rated Outstanding girls’ school with a mixed Sixth Form, is seeking to appoint a passionate, visionary, and inspiring Head of Drama to lead and develop our thriving Drama Department from September 2025.
This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Drama teacher or existing Head of Department to shape the strategic direction of Drama at our school, fostering a love of performance and creativity across all key stages.
⭐ About the Role:

Lead and manage the Drama Department, including curriculum planning and delivery at KS3, KS4, and KS5

Inspire and challenge students to achieve excellence in Drama through innovative and inclusive teaching

Oversee school productions, extracurricular activities, and enrichment opportunities

Monitor and support student progress, ensuring high levels of engagement and attainment

Collaborate with other creative arts departments to contribute to the cultural life of the school
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Qualified Teacher Status and a degree in Drama or a related subject

Proven success in teaching Drama across key stages, including exam groups

Strong leadership and organisational skills, with experience managing teams or leading initiatives
