The Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Computing Teacher to join our vibrant and forward-thinking faculty. The successful candidate will be passionate about inspiring students and delivering high-quality Computing education from KS3 through to GCSE and potentially A-Level. You will play a key role in developing students’ digital literacy, programming skills, and understanding of computer science principles.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and effective Computing lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and potentially 5.

Plan and deliver a well-structured, stimulating curriculum that meets the requirements of the national computing curriculum and examination boards.

Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support improvement.

Contribute to curriculum development and participate in departmental initiatives.

Support students’ wider development through extracurricular activities and computing-related clubs.

Collaborate with colleagues to share best practice and enhance teaching and learning.

Promote the school’s Catholic ethos and values in all aspects of teaching and interaction.
Person Specification:
-
Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent.

Strong subject knowledge in Computing and Computer Science.

Experience teaching Computing across KS3 and GCSE, with A-Level teaching experience an advantage.

Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
