We are now seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join our dynamic team, inspiring students to excel in Science and develop a love for learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and high-quality Science lessons to Key Stage 3, 4, and possibly Key Stage 5 students.
- Plan, prepare, and assess learning activities in line with the national curriculum.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student progress and participation.
- Work collaboratively with the Science Department to develop innovative resources and teaching strategies.
- Monitor student progress, providing effective feedback and support to ensure all students reach their full potential.
- Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and school events.
What We Are Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant degree in a Science subject (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics).
- Experience teaching Science at secondary level (Key Stages 3 and 4 essential; Key Stage 5 desirable).
- A commitment to inclusive education and high expectations for all students.
- Excellent classroom management skills and a creative approach to lesson planning.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- A passion for science and the ability to inspire young people to develop a lifelong interest in the subject.
