Our client school is a Catholic Voluntary Academy, which is part of a much larger Catholic Multi Academy Trust who are seeking to appoint a passionate RE Teacher to join its hardworking team of staff.
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic RE/RS specialist who enjoys a challenge and will inspire and motivate students, generating enthusiasm for learning. You must have the capability to motivate students of all ages and abilities, to inspire and lead your team, driving up standards in teaching and learning. Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, and the ability to raise attainment at all levels are key aspects of the role.
You will be responsible for:
- Teaching classes, including planning, recording, assessing, and meeting the social and learning needs of individual pupils
- Maintaining the positive Catholic ethos and core values of the school
- Fulfilling the professional responsibilities of a teacher and meeting the expectations set out in the Teachers’ Standards
