A high performing since its inception in 1887 is seeking an EAL TA. They were the highest performing school for progress in Haringey in 2017/2018 and consistently perform in the 20% of schools nationally. They are one of the nest schools in the borough and their students and outcomes prove this year on year.

As an EAL Teaching Assistant you will be expected to:

• Support EAL students with personalised learning
• EAL Trained and/or be able to speak a couple of foreign languages
• Help to overcome barriers to learning
• Adapt and customise lesson plans
• Support students with EAL to access extra-curricular activities
• Contribute to the management of EAL students’ behaviour, encouraging students to conform to the expected behaviour
• Contribute to the school awareness of EAL
• Provide pastoral support
• Facilitate contact with parents

You must hold an Enhanced DBS or be happy to apply for a new DBS.
