Head Teachers PA– Hounslow – ASAP Start – Perm

Our Client is a special school for children aged 3 – 11 years with severe and profound learning difficulties including those with an additional diagnosis of autism.

They are a recently expanded primary special school, providing an exciting, innovative and personalised curriculum for all pupils. OFSTED recently rated the school “Good” (Feb 18). There school is located on two sites, each with specialist support and facilities, appropriate to the age of the pupils. To meet the individual needs of their pupils, classes are small and teaching staff work closely alongside support staff.

Our client is looking to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic Head Teachers PA with a real passion for, and commitment to, helping the school and senior staff to their needs.

The school and the London Borough of Hounslow are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare and wellbeing of all children.  Successful applications will be subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure.

Job Role:

– To manage and co-ordinate the Headteacher’s diary and organise meetings, as appropriate.

–  To note and coordinate the Headteacher’s follow-up actions at the end of key meetings and from correspondence.

– Screen phone calls, enquiries and requests, and handle them when appropriate.

– To manage Headteacher’s correspondence, including email

– Work alongside the senior leadership team, supporting the strategic direction of the school.

– To meet deadlines and manage workload effectively

– Organise and attend meetings and ensure the head is well prepared for meetings.
