Job responsibilities will include:

o Carry out the professional duties of a school teacher, as set out in the current School Teachers’ Pay and Conditions Document (STPCD).

o To be accountable for the raising of student attainment, their achievement and progress in Art and Photography in your own classes.

o To develop an exciting, challenging and relevant learning experience for all students.

o Develop teaching and learning of the Arts within the Faculty.

o To be accountable for promoting and safeguarding students’ welfare and personal development as part of a faculty and whole school approach.

The ideal candidate:

o Have a strong understanding of both art and photography

o QTS qualified

o Be comfortable working with students of all ages and skill levels

o Have an enhanced DBS

o Be able to create engaging lesson plans that promote creativity and encourage exploration.
